DANCE

The Dance Section as part of the Festival includes outstanding dancers and dance companies who present their choreography in two events. A Thursday evening Gala Program, featuring all art forms, includes a dance performance. In addition, a public dance concert will be given on Saturday morning.

Performers/organizations in all dance styles are invited to participate in adjudications throughout Michigan. Expert judges will make selections for the Festival based on technical and choreographic merit. The entire Festival is designed to provide a valuable learning experience for students and teachers. Dancers will be able to take classes in technique and composition taught by several of the finest dance educators in the state.
